Rachel is a writer, creative producer, and copy editor born, raised, and living in Toronto. An accomplished and versatile writer, her work has been featured in The Canadaland Guide to Canada, The Huffington Post, Torontoist (RIP), The Globe and Mail, the Hart House Review and Diaspora Dialogues. She has also ghostwritten and copy edited in the tech and marketing worlds. For the last decade, Rachel has worked in film & TV development and production, acting as the primary editorial figure and the conduit between creators and physical production. She loves working with creators from an early stage, helping them find the best version of their story. On set, she is a compassionate, communicative, and positive presence who loves to solve problems in creative ways. Regardless of medium, Rachel's exacting eye and attention to detail make her an asset to any creative endeavor.

Rachel is writing and developing projects in a range of formats, including poetry, creative non-fiction, feature screenplays, and whatever else flies her fancy. She has also performed stand-up, sketch, and improv comedy and loves to riff. 

In her "spare" time, Rachel teaches small children how to skate, volunteers in her downtown neighbourhood, plays assorted genres of hockey, and is a burgeoning textile hobbyist with dreams of making her own clothes.
